Itinerary:

Our excursion will begin by picking up all passengers between 7:00 am and 9:45am in a deluxe vehicle from one of three pickup points in the Playa del Carmen area, or from most hotels in the Mayan Riviera/Puerto Aventuras/Puerto Morelos/Tulum area.

Upon arriving at the Mayaland Hotel, we head directly to the archaeological site through the Mayaland Hotel’s private entrance. At the site, our certified tour guide will take you on a one and a half hour tour exploring the secrets of ancient Mayan Civilization. Your guide will explain the historical significance of all the most important monuments before leaving you to discover the site on your own.

Move at your own pace. Check out El Castillo and the Observatory, take pictures or take a little time to relax at one of the Mayaland Resort pools, stroll through the tropical gardens, or relax in the cool breeze under the shade of massive ancient trees. You are free to return to the archaeological zone at your leisure through our private Mayaland entrance. We welcome you to enjoy full use of our resort facilities: pools, restrooms, lounge chairs, gardens and more.

After visiting the ruins, proceed to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the Mayaland Hotel serving traditional Yucatan dishes and other specialties including beef, chicken, fish, hamburgers and a salad bar. At lunch time, you will be entertained by traditional Yucatan music and dance performances by the Mayaland regional ballet.

Just a short walk to the archaeological park, a feast for your eyes and ears awaits you at the included light and sound show each Wednesday night. Translators are available for an additional fee at the entrance to the ruins. After the show, take some time to relax on a hammock or lounge chair for a night of stargazing in the mystical jungle of Chichen Itza.
