St. Paul's Cathedral & the Tower of London
The next stop is Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece, St. Paul’s Cathedral where Princess Diana was married and where Britain's most famous Admirals - Nelson and Wellington are buried. Then join us at the imposing Tower of London, built nearly a thousand years ago and founded by William the Conqueror. Formerly a prison, and also at one stage the Royal Palace, it is now home to the Crown Jewels. Your guide will show you Traitors Gate, through which many prisoners entered the Tower and is also the perfect spot to take photographs of Tower Bridge.

Cruise on the River Thames
Some of the best views of London can be seen from the River Thames. We enjoy the luxury of the Thames Clippers catamarans, passing by Shakespeare’s Globe, Cleopatra’s Needle and London Bridge, before disembarking at Westminster Pier to step back on the bus, bound for Buckingham Palace. On arrival, we will take up the ideal spot from which to witness the Changing of the Guard, a world famous ceremony, steeped in tradition and history.*

Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace
We arrive in plenty of time to witness the soldiers, dressed in their famous tunics and busbies, as they march to military music, in front of the Palace, the official Royal residence of Her Majesty the Queen.

Lunch in the Georgian Restaurant, Harrods.
The epitome of elegant dining, Harrods Georgian Restaurant is as much an institution as the store itself. Experience classic English fare with the expertly prepared buffet lunch including a carvery of turkey, roast prime rib of beef or salmon en croute. For dessert, indulge in a traditional selection from the celebrated Pâtissiere of Harrods. The lunch includes coffee and petits fours.

After the tour the rest of the day is yours to explore the store.

NB. If the guard change is not taking place, we still stop for photos of the Horse Guards parade.
